Robert Levine Bob Levine was born in Norfolk and educated at the University of Virginia (Comm '62, law '65). After a successful career during which he rose from CPA/tax manager to President of his firm of 7000 people, he came to Tucson in 2002 and immediately began to seek out organizations where his training and experience could make a difference. He now works with the Jewish Community Foundation, Youth on Their own, the Villages Homeowners Association, the La Paloma Property Owners Association and the Temple. He believes that the Temple must be the catalyst that allows each member to become part an extended family. He believe that people with similar views need to be connected one-on-one, in small groups and as a congregation. He believes further that each person may touch the Temple in many ways and that each touch to help another is Holy. He is proud of a Tshirt, given by his daughter that proclaims, "I'm not unemployed, I'm a consultant." He has painted over, "consultant" with "retired." Dina has passed on leaving two granddaughters. He has two sons. Gary is an English Professor at Ashland University with two children and Lee is just married, a full-time standup comic working throughout the West Coast. |
