      Eric Kendle, M.D. was born to a career Air Force NCO.  Dr. Kendle moved multiple times throughout the country and world as a child. He grew up mostly on an Air Base in Germany during the Cold War era. He later attended the University Of Arizona College Of Medicine then finished a residency in Surgery in 1996. He serves in the Air National Guard as Commander of the 162nd Medical Group and has deployed to Iraq two times as a Flight Surgeon and Trauma Surgeon. He has about 900 total flying hours mostly in F-16’s. He is the husband of Margaret and father to Wesley and Zachary which together are his favorite of all roles. Wesley is in the Army currently serving as a Paratrooper in Afghanistan. Zachary is a sophomore in High School. His wife Margaret helps teach Hebrew here at Temple while attending the University where she is a Fine Art Major. Dr. Kendle currently serves as an Associate Professor of Surgery for the University of Arizona teaching residents and medical students as an Attending Surgeon at the Tucson VA Medical Center.  He enjoys running, working out, hiking, surfing, traveling in Israel, traveling in general, studying Torah, teaching and seeking a deeper relationship to God.
