The Strauss ECE AND KINDERGARTEN   

The Strauss ECE and Kindergarten has eleven different classrooms from ages 6 weeks to 6 years of age.  Warm, loving, and dedicated professionals guide each classroom.  The programs are designed with an appropriate child/teacher ratio which follows NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) standards and a full schedule of activities.  The Strauss ECE and Kindergarten is open year round and follows the Jewish calendar.  Parents are made aware of closures and special events ahead of time by calendar, email and posted notices.

 

  

The Strauss ECE and Kindergarten is licensed by the State of Arizona Department of Health Services.  The State regulations are available in the office for parents and staff to review.

  

As an integral part of Temple Emanu-El, we are fortunate to be able to use Temple facilities as well as actively interact with its members and professional staff.  The Rabbis come into our classroom to deepen the Judaic curriculum and spend quality time building relationships with the children.  We celebrate holidays and Shabbat in the sanctuary.  We also offer a variety of enrichment classes.
