Friday, January 18th, 2013 at 6:00pm: Northwest Shabbat dinner and services at the Westwood Look, 245 E Ina Rd. $11 for Temple Emanu-El members and $13 for non-members covers the cost of the delicious kosher chicken dinner. RSVP to Mila by Wednesday, January 16th at (520) 327-4501.

Thursday, January 24th, 2013 at 5:00pm: A Tu B'shevat Arty Party at the JCC. There will be art, food and lots of F..U..N! There is no charge.

Friday, January 25th, 2013 at 5:30pm: Join us for our Tu B'shevat Wine-tasting Seder and Festive Dinner at Temple Emanu-El with a wonderful array of special fruits, nuts and outstanding Kosher wines, led by Rabbi Samuel Cohon. The dinner will be followed by Shabbat Shirah services. The seder and dinner are $22 for Temple members and $26 for non-members. If you are on the Rei'ut mailing list, you will pay a special price of $20. You must RSVP to Gail by Wednesday, January 23rd at (520) 544-3602.

Monday, January 28th, 2013 at 7:00pm at the JCC: Photographer Gil Cohen Magen will present a photographic study and lecture of the ultra-Orthodox in Israel over the past eight years, capturing rare ceremonies and gatherings which have never been photographed by outsiders.

Monday, February 4th, 2013 at 6:30pm: Israel, Past and Present. The Weinbraub Israel Center and Temple Emanu-El are presenting an exciting and informative series of five classes studying different aspects of the land of Israel. This first class, Israel's Cultures, Past and Present, will be taught by Ken Miller, U of A staff archaeologist. There will be a registration fee of $45 for everyone for all five classes. Wednesday, February 6th, 2013 at 5:00pm: Let's do Happy Hour/dinner at the Old Pueblo Grille, 60 N Alvernon, just north of Broadway on the east side. RSVP to Gail at (520) 544-3602 by Tuesday, Feb 5th.

Saturday, February 23rd at 8:00am: Join us for our Wandering Jews Shabbat hike and services. We will be hiking Bridal Wreath Falls in Saguaro National Park East. The hike is 5.5 miles round trip, and is moderately difficult. RSVP to Simon by Friday, Feb 22nd at (520) 731-1206
