Temple has a variety of ongoing programs that work to support the needs of the congregation and the community of Tucson-at-large. Whether you're a youngster or a senior (or anywhere in-between), here's the place to look for a program that you can join and take part in here at Temple. Programs include Sisterhood, Temple Emanu-El Reform Youth (TERY), Chavurah, Outreach, and Rei'ut, our Jewish Babyboomer Singles Group. Each winter, Temple is called upon to take part in a city wide interfaith program called 'Operation Deep Freeze' where we open our doors to care for the homeless during the coldest time of the year. It's one of many Social Action programs that we want to become more involved with in our community. The Drash program is a wonderful way to participate in weekly services by interpreting the Torah portion of the week. Contact Sharon Geiger at 219-1241 for further information |
